The unique vases are based on ancient designs found on museum pieces or taken from famous artwork. The designs of our collectable vases include those inspired by Greek influences, Egyptian hieroglyphics, bold abstract geometric patterns attributed to Picasso, and those of Modern Impressionists influence. We also have vases reminiscent of the Expressionist era where the artists' feelings or experiences created the theme for the artwork, as well as those that depict ancient rituals involving fire and water.

Different textures, patterns, and finishes are available such as mosaic tile, eggshell inlay, gold leaf, textured crackle finish, and Chinese horsehair. The ancient Chinese horsehair method is a timeless art that is still being practiced where artisans add actual horse¹s hair to the clay. This provides a unique texture, pattern and color to the vase which is finished in a matte glaze to accentuate the design. This beautiful style vase is truly unique.

Keep in mind that every piece is made by hand. The clay is first put into a mold to create the size and shape of the vase desired, then fired in a kiln. After the initial firing, an additional layer of clay is added to the vase so the details can be carved in. Each line on each vase was created by hand. After carving, details are painted on and the final embellishments such as eggshell and gold leaf are applied. All of this intricate work is completed by highly gifted artists whose attention to detail is unparalleled.
